Therapy for Trauma

“Trauma is a fact of life. It does not, however, have to be a life sentence.”

- Peter A. Levine

Types of trauma:

  • Medical trauma— complications with surgery, near death experience or medical negligence.

  • Combat trauma— experiences in war, being injured, and witnessing others injured or killed.

  • Religious or spiritual trauma— harm rooted in fear, control or abuse by a religious person or group.

  • Racial trauma— distress caused by repeated racism, discrimination, hate crimes or other race-related sufferings.

“Survival mode is supposed to be a phase that helps save your life. It is not meant to be how you live".”

- Michele Rosenthal

How can I help?

I am a trauma-informed therapist serving Indiana and Massachusetts. I provide safe, supportive space to heal. Trauma teletherapy means you can access care wherever you feel most secure. Together we can process your trauma and develop skills to cope with the effects. In our work, we will explore the traps of shame and other distorted thoughts. Allow me to offer you a safe and supportive space as you heal.
